Fifteen years ago, a Super Bowl Sunday prayer inspired a group of young people to do something more than celebrate a football game. Since 1993 more than $24 million has been raised for people in need. Every person in the congregation is asked to donate $1.00. Money collected is delivered to soup kitchens, food banks, or charities of Wesley's choice. The Souper Bowl Blitz is an opportunity for youth to serve at area soup kitchens, food banks, homeless shelters and other charities in our community. Youth are encouraged to volunteer for the Blitz and to help take collection during both Sunday services. For more information: http://www.souperbowl.org
